My name is Michael Lankton, and pseudoexpert.com is my personal blog. Some guy in the comments section of a blog thought he was insulting me by calling me a pseudo-expert, and I immediately thought it was a great name for a blog. 

This is my platform for all of my pseudo-expertise, and I'm in charge. If you don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Who am I? I played bass in the hardcore band Psychodrama in the 80's. They went on to become The Derelicts after I bailed. I spent most of the 90's building outlaw style choppers (in other words they were faster and louder than they were pretty, and they dripped oil). Somewhere along the way I became a unix guy and almost ended up becoming a coder. Somehow I ended up in law enforcement, and that is how I'm going to spend my days until I retire. The best thing I ever did was stalk my wife until she fell in love with me, and I have a wonderful family and two sons that make me very happy.
