About

My name is Michael Lankton, and pseudoexpert.com is my personal blog. Some guy in the comments section of a blog thought he was insulting me by calling me a pseudo-expert, and I immediately thought it was a great name for a blog.

This is my platform for all of my pseudo-expertise, and I'm in charge. If you don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. If you find something here you do like, stop by once in a while to see what I've been up to. There are also links to my Twitter and Facebook accounts if you're interested, and if that's not enough you can go read more of me at my other site AV Enthusiast. I also write a weekly article for Connected Internet.

Who am I? I played bass in the hardcore band Psychodrama in the 80's. They went on to become The Derelicts after I bailed. I spent most of the 90's building outlaw style choppers (in other words they were faster and louder than they were pretty, and they dripped oil). Somewhere along the way I became a unix guy and almost ended up becoming a coder. Somehow I ended up in law enforcement, and that is how I'm going to spend my days until I retire. The best thing I ever did was stalk my wife until she fell in love with me, and I have a wonderful family and two sons that make me very happy.

So that's me and this is my site. Thanks for stopping by. I hope I can either help you learn something or at least crack a smile to make the stop worth your while.
